The two-color cookie maker mainly consists of the following parts.

A two-color cookie machine is a specialized baking device used to make two-color cookies. It typically consists of two or more independent feeding systems to separately feed different colors and flavors of dough into the cookie molds. It usually comprises a control system, a feeding system, a pressure system, and an oven. The feeding system is one of the most important components. It typically consists of two or more feeding pipes, each of which can independently control the entry and exit of dough. This means the operator can adjust the speed and position of each feeding pipe as needed to achieve the desired recipe and shape.

The two-color cookie machine mainly consists of the following parts:

1. Feeding System

Hoppers: Usually, there are two or more independent hoppers for storing different colors and flavors of dough. The hoppers are generally made of food-grade stainless steel, which is easy to clean and meets hygiene standards. Their capacity depends on the specific machine model and production requirements to accommodate a certain amount of dough.

Conveying Devices: Including screw conveyors, belt conveyors, etc., responsible for stably transporting the dough from the hoppers to the extrusion molding section. The screw conveyor propels the dough forward using the rotation of its helical blades; the belt conveyor uses the movement of the belt to move the dough forward, ensuring that the dough enters the next process evenly and continuously.

2. Shaping System

Extrusion Device: Composed of an extrusion screw, extruder head, etc. The extrusion screw rotates under the drive of a motor, extruding the dough from the hopper and shaping it into a specific shape through the extruder head. Extruder heads come in various shapes and sizes, allowing for the production of cookies in various shapes such as round, heart, and flower.

Shaping Dies: Common types include wire-cut dies and roller-printing dies. Wire-cut dies are made through electro-etching of metal wire, allowing for the creation of various complex patterns and shapes; roller-printing dies press the dough directly into the cookie mold through a pair of rollers, and excess dough is scraped off with a scraper, allowing the cookie dough to detach from the mold onto the conveyor belt for the next process.

3. Baking System

Oven: The key component for cookie baking, generally using electric or gas heating. The oven features multiple baking trays inside, and a hot air circulation system ensures even heat distribution throughout the oven, guaranteeing uniform heating of all parts of the cookies for ideal baking results. The oven temperature and baking time can be adjusted according to different cookie recipes and thicknesses.

Temperature Control System: Used for precise temperature control within the oven, typically employing advanced temperature control technologies such as PID controllers to keep temperature errors within a small range, ensuring the quality and stability of cookie baking.

4. Conveying System

Conveyor Belt: Connects various work stages, such as feeding, forming, baking, and cooling. The conveyor belt speed can be adjusted according to production needs, ensuring smooth flow of cookies between processes and preventing impacts on production efficiency and product quality due to excessively fast or slow speeds.

Conveyor Chain: In some two-color cookie machines, in addition to the conveyor belt, a conveyor chain is used to transport baking trays or other components. Conveyor chains have advantages such as high load-bearing capacity and stable operation, making them suitable for heavy loads and long transmission distances.

5. Cooling System

Cooling Conveyor Belt: After baking, cookies need to be cooled rapidly to maintain their shape and texture. The cooling conveyor belt is typically made of stainless steel with a smooth surface, facilitating cooling and transport. Ventilation holes or cooling fans may be installed on the conveyor belt to accelerate cooling.

Cooling Fan: Installed above or to the side of the cooling conveyor belt, this fan uses forced convection to blow cool air onto the cookies, accelerating heat dissipation and improving cooling efficiency.

6. Control System

Operation Panel: Located in a prominent position on the two-color cookie machine, this panel typically features an LCD screen and various operation buttons and knobs. Operators can use the panel to set operating parameters such as feed rate, extrusion pressure, baking temperature and time, and conveyor speed. They can also monitor the equipment's operating status and fault information.

PLC Controller: The programmable logic controller (PLC) is one of the core control components of the two-color cookie machine. It coordinates the work of various parts and automatically controls the equipment's operation according to preset programs and parameters. PLC controllers offer advantages such as high reliability, flexible programming, and strong anti-interference capabilities, significantly improving the stability and automation of the equipment.
