Installation guidelines for electrically heated rotary furnaces typically include the following key steps.

An electrically heated rotary oven is a device that uses electricity as a heat source. Hot air is delivered into the furnace chamber via a heat exchanger and a fan to bake the items inside. It converts electrical energy into heat energy, heating the combustion chamber or heating elements. The resulting high-temperature hot air is then delivered into the furnace chamber through the heat exchanger and fan, ensuring even baking of the items. The oven body is designed to rotate, allowing for uniform heating of the items during baking, thus improving baking efficiency and quality.

It adopts a gear transmission structure. A flange is welded to the center of the furnace bottom, and the flange is bolted to the flange on the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is mounted on the central base via upper and lower bearings, forming the rotation center of the furnace body. The motor, reducer, and gear transmission constitute the power source for the furnace rotation. When the motor is turned on, it transmits power to the transmission shaft at a certain speed ratio through the reducer. A gear is mounted on the upper end of the transmission shaft, and the gear directly interacts with the pin gear at the bottom of the furnace shell to form a gear transmission. When the power source drives the gear to rotate, the furnace shell rotates around the central base at the bottom. At this time, the guide wheel supporting the bottom of the furnace shell acts as a pulley, causing the furnace shell to rotate under a small torque. By designing a certain transmission ratio for each transmission section, the furnace shell is ensured to rotate at a certain speed. Simultaneously, the required speed of the motor is selected by adjusting the motor speed using a frequency converter.

The installation guide for an electric heating rotary furnace typically includes the following key steps:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

Selecting a suitable location

Space requirements: Ensure sufficient space around the installation location for easy operation, maintenance, and cleaning by operators. It is generally recommended to leave at least 0.5 meters of space around the electric heating rotary furnace. Environmental Conditions: Choose a dry, well-ventilated environment free of corrosive gases. Avoid installing the equipment in humid, high-temperature, or direct sunlight locations to prevent affecting the performance and lifespan of electrical components.

Power Requirements: Ensure there is a power outlet with sufficient capacity and appropriate voltage near the installation location. Electric rotary ovens typically require 220V or 380V AC power. Select the appropriate power line based on the equipment's power rating, and ideally use a well-grounded three-prong outlet.

Inspect Equipment Components

Visual Inspection: Before installation, carefully inspect the electric rotary oven for damage caused during transportation, such as scratches or deformation of the oven body, or broken glass doors.

Accessories List Verification: Check the accessories list in the equipment manual to ensure all included accessories are present, including baking trays, racks, temperature probes, instruction manual, warranty card, etc.

II. Installation Steps

Placing the Oven Body

Stable Placement: Carefully place the electric rotary oven in the pre-selected location, ensuring the oven body is stable. Adjusting the adjustable feet at the bottom of the oven body can help maintain its levelness, which is crucial for ensuring rotational stability during use. Note the details: Some electric rotary ovens may have removable casters. After placing the oven body, ensure the casters are locked to prevent movement during use.

Installing the baking tray and racks

Baking tray installation: Place the baking tray in the appropriate position according to the oven's internal structure. Generally, baking trays have specific slots or support structures. Insert the tray accurately, ensuring it is securely installed and will not shift during rotation.

Rack installation: If the electric rotary oven has multiple racks, install them from bottom to top. During installation, ensure the spacing between racks is adequate to guarantee even heating of the food.

Connecting the power supply

Correct wiring: Plug the electric rotary oven's power cord into a compatible power outlet. Before connecting, double-check that the voltage and frequency of the equipment are compatible with local power standards.

Checking the connection: After connecting the power supply, check that the power cord is securely connected and not loose or damaged. You can gently pull the power cord to check for a tight connection.

Debugging and Inspection

Power-on Test: Turn on the power switch of the electric heating rotary furnace and observe whether the indicator lights on the furnace body illuminate normally and whether the rotating device begins to rotate slowly and smoothly. Simultaneously, listen to the operating sound of the equipment; under normal circumstances, there should only be a slight motor rotation sound and fan operation sound.

Temperature Control Test: Set different temperature levels and check whether the temperature control device is working properly. A thermometer can be placed inside the furnace cavity to observe whether the displayed temperature matches the actual temperature; the error should be within the range specified in the equipment manual.
