This article will guide you through the working process of a cake cup dispenser.

Phase 1: Preparation and Loading

Tray Positioning: Empty cake mold trays (usually metal or silicone with multiple indentations) are placed by the operator or automatically conveyed to the machine's placement station via a conveyor belt and precisely positioned.

Paper Cup Loading:The operator places stacks of pre-flattened cake paper cups (usually hundreds per stack) into the machine's dedicated hopper or cup storage container.

Phase 2: Paper Cup Separation and Conveying

Stack Conveying: The machine smoothly conveys the entire stack of paper cups upwards to the cup-separating station via a lifting platform or conveyor device.

Key Step - Cup Separation: This is the core of the machine, designed to reliably separate the bottommost individual paper cup. Common techniques include:

Friction Separation: Using specially designed friction plates or rollers, only the bottommost paper cup is "grabbed" (utilizing the frictional difference between it and the next cup), and it is pulled out laterally.

Suction Cup Separation: Vacuum suction cups descend, gripping the bottom of the top or bottom layer of paper cups, lifting them and separating them from the rest.

Combined Separation: Combining friction and vacuum suction, this ensures that only one paper cup is separated at a time, offering the highest reliability.

Third Stage: Paper Cup Dispensing and Positioning

Dispensing: The separated individual paper cups are transported to the dispensing head via a turntable, chute, or conveyor belt.

Positioning and Alignment: At the dispensing head, a small mechanism (such as a tapered guide) may slightly open and center the possibly slightly wrinkled paper cups, preparing them for the next gripping step.

Fourth Stage: Gripping and Placement

Multi-Station Gripping: The machine's placement head (usually a device equipped with multiple vacuum suction cups, the number of which matches the number of holes in each row of the mold tray) moves to the dispensing head position.

Simultaneous Lifting: All suction cups operate simultaneously, lifting a row of paper cups (e.g., 6 or 12) at a time.

Movement and Positioning: The placement head moves horizontally, carrying paper cups, directly above the positioned mold tray.

Precise Placement: The placement head descends, precisely placing each paper cup into its corresponding mold recess. The vacuum is then released, and the suction cups rise.

Fifth Stage: Cycle and Completion

Cycle Operation: The placement head returns to the dispensing head position to pick up the next row of paper cups. Simultaneously, the mold tray may be moved one position by a stepper motor (if the placement head is single-row), or the placement head itself may move to the next row position for placement, until every mold hole on the entire tray is filled with paper cups.

Finished Product Output: The tray filled with paper cups is automatically removed from the work area by a conveyor belt and enters the next production process (such as filling cake batter). At the same time, a new empty tray enters, starting the next cycle.
